This work is made using a hammer - a practice known as Tsuiki. In Japanese, “tsuiki,” is the art of using a metal hammer (tsui) to raise (ki) a sheet of copper metal. It is an ancient craft - one that elevates everyday objects, in turn elevating every day.
Wild Bod is back with a colleciton of combs and clocks - a perfect paring. The combs are labors of love - each one a small marvel. Made out of acrylic scraps with epoxy inlays - each comb is laser-cut and then hand shaped. When is that last time you saw a comb that took your breath away?
