Vessel w/ Hand
Part of Fabulist, her 2024 solo exhibition at 6 Allen St. Of the show, she wrote:
I'm thinking about a dinner party, and I'm thinking about Aesop and mosaics and shorthand – specifically, John Comstock Evans “Complete Course for Self-Instruction” – and The Unswept Floor, along with pigeons and tomato paste and butter. Of course, I'm thinking about my version of all these, and I like to remember that all the things that we don't know about Aesop could fill a banquet hall. Meanwhile, what we do know is that his fables were short, less like stories and more like fabulous toasts.
